The Calumet CC-402 is a 4x5 rail camera suited for large format studio work. The CC-402 is designed for use with wide angle lenses and has a bellows extension of 183mm with correspondingly short rail. Additionally the CC-402 has geared front rise/fall capable of 3 inches of rise or one inch of fall. It can achieve 30 degrees of front tilt forward or backward off a center axis. There is manual front shift of 22mm in both directions and 12 degrees of front swing. All movements are duplicated in the rear standard except for rise/fall. The film holder can rotate between landscape and portrait orientations. The ground glass is not removable and the CC-402 is not compatible with Graflok accessories. The CC-402 uses a 4 inch square lens board.
